Bridges (done well) are the key to hamstring strength. Bridges become leg curls, leg curls progress to glute ham ISO’s and eventually glute hams. Just think of the hamstring as a hip extensor and, an eccentric/ isometric break, not as a knee flexor. Also realize that good hamstring function strongly relates to lumbo pelvic motor control.
