Transverse Chop

I love the Transverse Chop as an explosive core exercise. The best way to do this is to use a tricep rope on your Keiser machine or your Ancore Trainer. Grab the handles so the thumbs point at the machine. The action is an explosive dynamic pull push action. Pull into the chest and immediately transition to a push. The key is the look powerful and athletic. Think about the weight transfer from the leg closest to the machine, through the hips and core and then into the hands. Athletes will do well with "their visual". "Swing a bat", "shoot a snapshot" etc.
